FEAR ......Have you been infected?

I was almost infected....

As one of the many things I do to support my Mental Health, I am on a strict “media diet” meaning that I take my news in small bits once a day rather than a continual onslaught.

FEAR is contagious, sometimes its spread from your favorite news outlet, other times it's a family member, friend, co-worker or acquaintance passing the infection to you.

Yesterday someone commented on me recently sharing my mental health story.....

"Hoping your wellness coaching is satisfying.

Watch out for recession and economic slowdown which may force restricted consumer spending?"

I know this was sent with the best of intentions, but had I not started my day by waking early to meditate & spend time in nature, I might have caught the FEAR Infection from that statement. Not too long ago that would have sent me into a tailspin.

If you are finding yourself OVERWHELMED by all the inflation, violence, recession, war, political discord, food shortages, new health threats….pick any point of chaos in the world right now, you are not alone.

This breathing practice in this month's featured Take 5 Stretch & Breath break offers a tool for you to Take 5 from it. Enjoy!
